The Mountain Clean-up Campaign 2023, led and coordinated by the Nepali Army has successfully concluded the halfway mark of waste collection from four mountains including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Annapurna, and Mt. Baruntse. The campaign, which is one of the largest mountain cleanup programs in the world, commenced on 28th March and will close on the 5th of June. The Coca-Cola Foundation was the major donor partner for the campaign while several organizations collaborated on the cause.

With increasing modernization and industrialization, humans seem to be getting more and more disconnected from the nature. Our concept of development is generally defined by high- rise buildings and high economic growth and in the midst of it, we have been jeopardizing the natural resources present around us and undermining their importance. Development cannot attain its true essence until and unless we find a balance between the economic and natural environment.
We believe that the best solutions come from a thorough understanding of the challenges at hand. That's why our projects are an outcome of rigorous research work, allowing us to have a closer look at the issue and develop an organized and efficient outline for our interventions.
With a deep understanding of the issue, we plan interventions and create projects that are realistic, achievable, and promote collective solutions and sustainable progress, keeping the needs of the beneficiaries at the center. Our approach is inclusive, participatory, and empowering, ensuring that local communities have a voice in shaping their own future.

Global Recycling Day 2026 was successfully held near UN Park in Lalitpur with the objective of promoting sustainable waste management, recycling practices, and a circular economy.

This year’s global message, “Don’t Think Waste, Think Opportunity,” reminds us that recycling is not merely about managing waste, but about transforming the way we value our resources and reimagine our systems. It challenges us to see beyond disposal and recognize the untapped potential in what we often discard.

At CREASION, we revolutionize waste management by transforming plastic waste into valuable resources. Through innovative recycling strategies and circular economy principles, we turn discarded materials into high-quality products that drive sustainable economic growth while protecting our environment.
