A two-day technical training aimed at strengthening private waste enterprises was conducted successfully at the CREASION Office on February 24–25, 2025. The training brought together nine participants from six enterprises, focusing on enhancing both organizational and technical capacities for improved waste management operations. Prior to this training, the representatives of ten enterprises including these six enterprises were trained for their capacity building and to groom them for the idea pitching and proposal refinement. This was second round of technical training that covered t key topics, including the role of waste management enterprises, organizational management, financial literacy and compliance, legal frameworks, environmental safeguarding, reporting and documentation, and financial management.
As part of the training, participants visited a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) to observe gender-friendly infrastructure and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices.
