55 French engineering volunteers rebuilding school in Nepal
The HumanISA XVII team comprising of 55 engineer volunteers, 2 professors and a nurse are here in Nepal to rebuild a school affected by the earthquake of 2015. The team will be here in Nepal for 5 weeks to reconstruct Shree Kaule Devi School in Kakani, Nuwakot. Shree Kaule Devi School suffered a major damage during the 2015 earthquake which had abruptly disturbed the classes.
The volunteers have been divided into several teams with specified roles. The good coordination among the teams have led to a huge progress in the structure in only a few days. The school design is based on French engineering and we will get to see a completely new concept and French engineering once the school is ready.
Meanwhile, the students have been relocated at a vacant house until the new structure will be ready. During the course of the project, The French Ambassador to Nepal, Yves Carmona paid a visit to the ongoing construction site.
The school will be ready in the end of March and the school will function in early April.
